    Warrnambool's Fun 4 Kids Festival
       A comprehensive guide to Australia's largest children's festival 2010

Fun 4 Kids - 2011    3rd to 10th July

Now in its 13th year the Fun4Kids Festival has now established itself as Victoria's premier children's festival and attracts thousands of children ( and their parents) to Warrnambool each year to participate in a broad range of performance, creative and interactive arts, hands-on workshops and exceptional live entertainment.
The Festival is a not-for- profit event assisted by local sponsors, an army of volunteers and the generous support of the Warrnambool community and is staged during the first week of the winter school vacation each year ( this year 3rd July to 10th July)
The Festival is set in 2.5 acre purpose-built, indoor village located in the centre of the city, close to accommodation, restaurants and entertainment venues (The festival is suitable for children between the ages of 2 and 12 years.)

This years performers will include European acts, Mr Spin and Pandora Pink, the outrageously funny Scared Weird Little Guys and Playschool’s Justine Clarke plus a number of stage shows including Cinderella and The New Adventure Island

Accommodation and Transport Options
There is a good choice of accommodation options in Warrnambool although bear in mind that most properties close to the festival are apartment style lodging and will be in $175 to $200 per night price range, and most of these will be booked already.
If you are looking for something a bit cheaper then there are a number of good 3-4 star motel within about a kilometre of the festival, although don't worry too much about where you stay as there is a shuttle bus operating during the festival which will pick you up and drop you off. The service runs every 30 minutes between 9:00am and 5:30pm and cost about $2.00 per trip.
For more information about accommodation or the shuttle service then we recommend you contact any of the advertisers on this page
For visitors intending to come via road keep in mind there is very little in the way of free long term car parking in the centre of Warrnambool so it might be worth considering parking at Warrnambool Showgrounds in Koroit Street, and use the free shuttle that runs between the showgrounds and the festival. This service runs continuously from 9:30am and 5:30pm daily.
Dorothy the Dinosaur show, and Oz Opera's performance of Hansel and Gretel will be amongst the highlights of this years Fun 4 Kids Festival

Admission Prices on hold
In an attempt to keep the cost to families at a reasonable level, ticket prices have been pegged at last years prices.
Ticket prices for a family of four is $384 for the eight days of the festival and $120 for a family pass for one day.
Festival organisers are keen to point out, this is very good value for money considering the amount of entertainment provided over the duration on the festival
Other ticket options include single passes for both single and eight days are also available

Bookings can be made in person or by phone and there is facilities to book on line via the Fun4Kids web site
