Kookaburra Lodge Motel is surrounded by native trees and Kookaburras, Koala's and Currawong's are a common sight around the motel. Kangaroos, Emus and Red Deer are also frequent visitors

 

The Kookaburra Lodge Motel is easily found and is located behind the Mobil service station in the Main street
For visitors arriving from the Melbourne side of Halls Gap, take the first turn to the left ( Heath st) past the Mobil service station in the main street.



The gardens and surroundings are a feature of Kookaburra Lodge Motel, a 14 unit small and friendly business is situated just a block from the centre of Halls Gap and a two minute walk to the shops and restaurants. All 14 rooms have their own private balconies that open out onto lawns and gardens with views of the surrounding ranges. Comfortable beds, gourmet breakfasts, personal service and affordable prices are a trademark of the Kookaburra Lodge


  

The Rooms
The Kookaburra Lodge Motel is essentially a single class motel with all rooms offering similar amenities and the major difference is the number of beds in each room

Double Rooms have a queen size bed plus a two seat couch and a small two place dining table.
Twin Rooms have a queen size bed plus a single bed and a small two place dining table. There is no couch in the twin rooms
Interconnecting Rooms there are three sets of interconnecting rooms which can provide accommodation for up to six people
Disabled Room - Standard double room modified to accommodate wheelchair access to toilet and shower. Handrails also have been fitted to strategic areas to assist with mobility
